Based on my book, “It’s Me I’m Running To”, I have created a series of workshops which are conducted through discussion, therapeutic arts and practice. The sessions are designed around specific chapters and assignments from the book. Each one explores the lessons learned and healing processes within by life incidents.
The topics from the do not have to have been experienced by every workshop participant, because the stories are universal. The insight revealed is applicable in many different situations.
As a result of participating in the workshop series the participant will:
× leave with the ability to recognize destructive, recurring patterns of behavior, and to make choices based on intellect vs emotion.
× be equipped with techniques needed to release the pain from your past and refocus your energy on the present.
× be given skills necessary to create the next phase of your life, and effective, sustainable methods to help you see your value and bring you back to loving yourself.
× be empowered and confident to begin telling or writing your own story.
It is imperative to understand that all of the tools we need are within us. It is up to us to create our own life, write the next chapter in a way which brings us all we deserve. Abundance and fulfillment come when all of our internal forces are in line with external. This means we must have successful relationships, great health, strong spiritual connectedness, material satisfaction and self-love. Never forget that how we see the word is how we live in the world. The arts are an integral part of the critical thinking process, and when we are able to employ more of our senses, we learn, we retain and we teach. The arts aid in keeping us healthy spiritually, mentally, emotionally and physically. My art and healing workshops over the three year period are a ladder to health and well-being and sustainability.
